Description

This family of Japanese printmaking grades includes one machine made paper, Okawara Machine Made, and two handmade papers, Okawara Student and Okawara Handmade. 

All of these sheets possess the traditional fine art qualities expected of a premium washi line though nuances within the grades cater each to certain markets. 

For instance, Okawara Student is lighter and more economical making it an ideal sheet for beginning artists. 

Okawara Machine Made features a warm creamy tone and is the only one available in a larger size, escaping the dimensional limitations of a handmade sheet. 

Finally, Okawara Handmade is the most luxurious of the three with a supple fibrous surface and a subtle laid pattern that exudes quality.
