Here's a great example of using Colorplan heavyweight papers from Craig Atkinson
Personal branding and stationery with a mixture of printing techniques on 4 shades of Colorplan. Metallic screen printed business cards, with stamped back and a DIY edge painting on two edges. Also includes a french fold mini-portfolio, that when opened one way is a blank notebook, and when opened on the other side is a variety of full bleed monotone images from my portfolio.
Paper Cuts - the good kind
Came across these amazing paper cuts from Eiko Ojalo, an Estonian illustrator. Don't know much about him, but give these a look. The detail, the intricacies, the use of shadows - he's a talented guy.
