(Sort of) New From Poster Child Prints

"Basquiat" by artist Deer DanaDon't know how we missed this one from our friends at Poster Child Prints back in March.

In their words:

This hand pulled, one-color silkscreen, "Basquiat" is by artist Deer Dana. Each print is signed by Dana. Prints are numbered, embossed and exclusive to PCP, validated by a Certificate of Authenticity.

"The Jean-Michel Basquiat design is the first of a series of collaborations with our good friend Sean Sullivan who runs the Impossible Cool - a popular website that showcases rare archival photographs of 20th Century icons. This Basquiat design was drawn from a Polaroid of the artist by Andy Warhol." - Dana Veraldi

Earth Day Tree

Artwork by Ian MillardAnother day, another artist doing inspiring work on our papers.  Earth Day Tree is a hand-cut stencil with spraypaint by Ian Millard on Stonehenge.

These are available with custom colors.  Prints come signed, numbered and embossed with a handmade COA.

Silkscreen on Plike

"Battle in Vain" by John DoeWe're big believers that there should be no specific purpose for a paper.  Some watercolor papers are great for drawing.  Some printmaking papers are widely used in invitations.  Even Yupo - a synthetic paper - turns out to be great to watercolor.

So we're always surprised that more artists haven't turned on to Plike.  We saw this seven color screenprint from UK artist John Doe and thought we'd share.
